Irish poetry was originally composed as songs and chantsmusic is a form of literature. As a poet, with a bardic heartI could feel the soulful melody and harmony of an Irish ballad within Murray's lyrical poem that appears in Connolly's guide-book. The poem's rhyme chanted "Sing me!"

All it needed was a heartfelt voice that could meaningfully express the emotional wavelength of the poem's storyhere is my Uncle Paudge (Pauric) Keenaghan singing the poem, what he calls "Bundoran Remembered"–a song composed for the first time (17/7/2024).

May the music of this poetic songinspire more music, more poetry and more songs.
